Service was great. Breakfast burrito and cold brew hit the spot. And the location doesn't get better. Good vibe and ambience since it's mainly just local employees coming for a quick breakfast or lunch.

This restaurant is located in a very corporate area so during noon time, the line to order gets super long. After encountering that a few times, I now order online and my food is always ready when I get there. Their ago tuna wrap, grilled chicken torta, and turkey avocado sandwiches are pretty decent but if the line to order food is long, you can pick something up from the fridge and pay at a different kiosk. I wouldn't recommend the cold sandwiches and sushi in the fridge, but if you're in a rush and need something fast it's an option that I'm glad they have.

Car had issues and forgot my lunch today. Co worker pointed out that this place "Lone Pine Eatery" was near by. Looked it up and saw it was near. Walked over and was surprised on how nice this place is. Indoor and outdoor seating. A good menu with great prices and friendly staff. Not to many pictures online, but I got the Turkey sando and it was delicious. Looks like they have added some happy hour hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and online ordering is now available. Definitely will be going back to try everything on the menu.

This eatery is closeby but most of my time is spent in front of the computer at work. Doing my best as I come in 5 days a week. No hybrid remote for this worker bee. However, at least 2 days of the week, my boss is not in the office so I have an opportunity to go out for lunch either on a Monday or Friday. I don't usually do it. The opportunity to visit Lone Pine Eatery was for a breakfast. I had run some errands and needed something to eat knowing I had nothing at my desk drawer or work fridge. I stopped by to get the Avocado toast with a side of bacon. The prices with inflation is now high so I wasn't expecting a cheap breakfast. The order went smooth, the toast was great, although I am not a fan of lots of green leaves on top of my toast, I prefer more avocado less arugula. It was good and satisfied without being too filling. Mainly it's a nice alternative and place to get a sandwich, coffee and other quick meals. The spot used to be different until it was probably closed because of the pandemic. I don't even remember the name of the other place but I probably reviewed it.

I finally just tried this place (it's the closest cafe to my work) and I'm stoked. I ordered an ancient grains bowl with chicken. It was ready pretty quickly, and the portion is enormous! Seriously, it weighs about 3 pounds and it could be 4 meals for me. $16. The chicken is tender and tasty and the bowl is full of healthy tasty things.

This is one of my new go to lunch spots. Great food, try the salmon. Go to is the vermicelli bowl!

Awesome breakfast and lunch options in a part of UTC with slim pickings! So happy this place opened up.

If you are looking for a finely prepared lunch/breakfast with fresh ingredients, this is your place. Located in an area with quite a few corporate locations (down the street from the Westfield LaJolla mall (about a mile), it has pleasant outdoor seating, friendly staff and super convenient for workers at Apple, Abbott, etc. Great salads and the turkey panini is great too. Breakfast burrito was tasty and they have fresh pastries brought in each morning.

This place just opened across the street and provide a much needed lunch option in the area. I loved the turkey avocado panini I had. And the cold brew coffee was pretty good too
